Dr. Zulma Gazit received a M.Sc. in Biochemistry at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Later, she obtained her Ph.D. in the field of Immunology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research focuses on Intervertebral Disc Degeneration, and the use of Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) as a therapeutic approach. Besides that, she investigates the effects of teriparatide (PTH) administration on the regeneration of calvarial bone defects.
